Sebestyén – Nánai Kékfrankos – Nána Blaufränkisch
€8,67 inc. VAT
Kékfrankos, known outside Hungary as Blaufrankisch (Blue Frankish), produces characterful wines with deep fruits and smooth tannins. It is a well balanced wine with lingering flavours of red berries and spices. Thank to the cooler plateau of Nána vineyard, this wine is built on its elegant acidity. It is a great expression of the feminine side of the variety.
Producer’s food pairing recommendation:
“The flavour profile of Kékfrankos is dominated by dark and red cherries, sour cherries, violets and black pepper. It can cut through fatty dishes so it is a great match for ducks and it also goes well with dishes containing cabbages and beetroot.”
