“Axios” is a Worthy wine of Eger from 2016. The Hungarian meaning is Méltó. Wine – really Eger style with its exciting and complex character – was created by György Lőrincz jr. This Egri Bikavér with selected base wines coming from different Crues with different soil types (marine sedimental limestone, vulcanic and clay) gives special, elegant experience. Nose catching fragrances: mulberry, ripe sour cherry complemented by rose, anise, forest litter, caraway seed and bay leaf. Fruit, terroir and spice cavalcade on the palate. The structure is full with energy. Acids nearly explode with long lasting, intensive finish. An extraordinary wine experience: complexity and energy.
